Amanda nodded, and retracted her hand have he shook it. "Well, you seem like a nice Young Man." she giggled lightly, her age showing again.

Radu grinned and waved as Evan and Kao walk over. "Hey Evan, Kao," he greeted. Mr. Talbot looked at his watch. 2:00. He stood up, raising a hand for silence. "Alright, alright. Settle down..class has started." Mr. Talbot walked to the front of the room, glancing in Margaret's direction. "Margaret? Margaret, wake up. Class has started, come on!" |

Aww damn it, Seth thought, as he rushed down the hall. He checked his watch as if time had possibly stopped or slowed down. It hadn't. His perfect attendance record was officially tainted. "SETH STOP! FOR THE SAKE OF MY LEGS!" Kat yelled, bringing Seth out of his thoughts. He stopped, looking back to see her glaring, her gray eyes looking oddly malicious. Seth winced. "Sorry." He said, frowning. Kat was of average height for a fourteen year old, but the real problem was the Seth was too tall for a sixteen year old. He was often mistaken for an 18 year old instead. Seth glanced at his watch again. 2:05 They were only halfway there, so it would take another 2 minutes, give or take. Seth grimaced. "Let's hurry up Kat."

Mr. Talbot kept the door unlocked. This was an important class and he didn't want any late comers to miss it. Once he had everyone's undivided attention, he continued. Alucard and Abel watched intently while Radu idly scratched the back of his neck. Meredith turned around in her seat and became silent.
"Now that I have everyone's attention," Mr. Talbot said, "I have some news regarding the direction in which this class is going. I'm aware that teaching you how to control your gifts is practically pointless, as the majority of you already know how and are most excellent at it. So, I propose, as your teacher and headmaster, a change in course material. We'll be moving on to defense and offense training. This will be to excercise those gifts and keep your abilities sharp and well-practiced." |

Seth rounded the last corner blindly. He rammed into something warm, solid, and alive. It let out a small shriek as it fell to the floor. It was a girl. She looked about 5 foot 2, with short brown hair in a spiking pixie cut. Seth frowned, mumbling a sorry as he rushed to the classroom. He felt his heart beat slow down as he slid into his seat next to Abel. Kat, however, lingered. "Guys," she scoffed, "They're so simple. You need help?" Kat reached down her hand as an offer to help Becka up. Big brown eyes looked at Kat's hand cautiously before taking it. "Thanks you," Becka said smiling. She started to walk away in the direction opposite to the classroom. Kat frowned and stopped her, "Hey um you." Becka turned. "Yes?"
"Shouldn't you be joining us for the meeting thing that Mr, Talbot assembled?" Kat asked.
A meeting? Becka nodded uncertainly. "Um..?"
Kat grabbed her hand, and starting steering her towards the classroom. "Well come on then," She said. She flinged open the classroom door.
"Hey guys we have a new student!" She yelled.

Holly looked up, taking a break from her doodling, raising an eyebrow at her Teacher standing in front of her. Was he really going to give them an excuse to put each other in the Hospital?

Mr. Talbot glanced in Kat's direction. He knew there would be those that might be late. Then he noticed the girl she dragged in with her. "Oh? Hello! Could you sign the tardy list, please? I won't count it against you, however, because you're a new student." He gestured to his desk where a blank tardy list lay. |

Becka brought her hand to her mouth, and pouted unconsciously. It was just something she did when she got mad or upset. The fact that she was at a new school was intimidating, but knowing all the other kids had abilities like her made it worse. She picked up the pen and signed her name with a flurish, quickly snf quietly taking a seat in the back, hoping to go unnoticed. Kat signed her name with indifference, sitting in a random seat. It was next to Becka.
