//OOC: Writing style change! I'm writing this in Alu's POV for the first post.//
My sense of reality has changed, if I've noticed anything at all, I think as I shift out of sleep. Blinking, I yawn and stretch my paws out. Being in this form has a peculiar charm, especially as of late. To me, it symbolizes my place as the guardian of the small yet steadily growing group currently chilling out behind the closed doors that I've been dozing in front of. It also makes sleeping out here a little more comfortable.
I'm not afraid of this place. Sometime ago I realized this was no longer the real world, but some other dimension or alternate universe. And though I can feel and sense some sort of presence, I have seen nothing that would startle or frighten me. I have also noticed that the time of day changes every six hours. It was midday when I fell asleep; now it looks like it might be dawn. I can see the sun just peeking over the city skyline.
All of the abnormalty makes me long for the world I knew. No longer in it, I now know that I've taken a few things for granted, and that there were things I never took the time to appreciate that make me feel so wistful and bittersweet. Unable to sigh in this form, I bury my muzzle under my paws forlornly, seeing nothing. All I want to do is escape this empty void.

"Mhhmmmm." Emily sail moaned in her sleep. She was laying right on Alucard, her back pressed against his doggie stomach, curling her own spine to match his position. She licked him a little bit, to express her frustration with him moving about while she tried to sleep with him.

Alucard tilted his wolfish head, peering at Emily with four of his eight red eyes. He laid his ears back in agitation, not appreciating being kicked. Hey, that hurts, Alucard thought, thumping his tail to further express himself. No one asked you to sleep out here, you know.

Kat walked, almost tripping over something large, furry and...warm. She looked down, seeing the passed out Emily and wolf figure. "Are you okay?" she asked Emily, a note of concern entering her voice. She noted the wolf's large eyes watching her. As if he was protecting the girl.

Annoyed, Emily opened her eyes to look at Kat, though as she did, she snuggled closer to Alucard, feeling his arm silky fur against the places where her P.J shit was pulled up in the back from squirming in her sleep. "I'm fine.[ she mused. "It's Alucard..He's soooo warmmmm." she said as she turned her body over, and snuggled her face into his hair chest.

If his hellhound form had actual lips, Alucard would have smirked. The strange and seemingly foreboding creature gazed up at Kat from where it lay. She's right, he thought to her. Its me, Alucard. Its just I prefer this form occasionally... The big black wolf-dog sniffed, the equivalent to a human sigh.

"Okay...So Alucard's now a dog and we're in a different dimension. One I can't just teleport out of. That's just peachy," Kat said sharply, her voice rising with hysteria. Great Kat, now you're choosing the PERFECT time to freak out she thought.

Alucard tilted his head at Kat's tone. He rose to his paws, being mindful of Emily, and as he rose, his form began to take a bipedal shape, human features springing from the otherwise dog-like appearance. Once again in his normal form, Alucard raised an eyebrow. "Does this help?"

Kat nodded. "So you're also a shape shifter on top of everything else? That's...nice." She looked around at the barren landscape. "Is this your world? Not to be rude or anything, but it lacks in decor."

"Heh. You learn something new every day," he replied, with a sarcastic edge. Alucard smirked when Kat made the remark about his "supposed" world lacking decor. "You think this is my world?" he asked, laughing. "I'm not bland, Kat." His laughter soon quieted, and stopped altogether, a frown forming on his lips. "But no. This world is not mine. We are in an alternate universe."
